Back to Wellness Physical Therapy provides comprehensive physical therapy for all regions of the body for ages 8 and up. Marc has developed a unique and eclectic treatment style and skill set over his 33 years of experience.

Structure often dictates function. Marc uses an eclectic manual therapy approach to improve your joint, muscular, neuromuscular and connective tissue health. When structural health improves, so does your potential for functional recovery. That means doing more of what you need or love to do. Marc’s manual therapy skill set includes:dry needling, mobilization, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, strain-counter strain, manipulation, cranio sacral therapy, taping, visceral manipulation and soft tissue mobilization.

In therapy we say “when the foot hits the ground, everything changes”. For some, these changes are abnormal, leading to pain in the foot, leg or spine. Our feet need to carry us a long way and sometimes the correct orthotic or shoe can help. Marc prescribes custom and over the counter orthotics and assists in proper shoe prescription. Orthotics can improve your balance, increase walking tolerance and reduce pain throughout your lower body and back.

Everything we do at Back to Wellness Physical Therapy serves one purpose, to help you live the life you want to live. Whether that means going to the grocery store independently or hiking in the beautiful mountains of WNC, your goals are our top priority. While manual therapy improves your structure, functional rehabilitation takes those improvements and puts them into action. Strengthening, movement retraining and home exercise prescription are an important part of this functional rehabilitation.
